Wellfield Technologies, Inc. (TSXV: WFLD · OTC: WFLDF · FSE: K8D) is a publicly traded financial-technology company, formed in November 2021 through the merger of two technology ventures. It builds systems with blockchain technology for two markets, retail and institutional, through its wholly-owned subsidiaries, Coinmama and Tradewind.
Our story
Wellfield was formed around the goal of making digital assets accessible and trustworthy for both individuals and institutions.
Its retail business is built on Coinmama, a crypto platform operating since 2013. In 2023, Wellfield acquired Tradewind, an established institutional precious-metals platform, adding its institutional arm. Both platforms benefit from technology and innovation coming from Wellfield Technologies.

Wellfield Technologies, Inc. is a publicly traded financial-technology company headquartered in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. Its shares are listed on the TSX Venture Exchange under the symbol WFLD, and also traded on the OTC market as WFLDF and on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange as K8D.
Wellfield operates two wholly-owned subsidiaries:
- Coinmama: a retail cryptocurrency platform founded in 2013. Wellfield closed its acquisition of New Bit Ventures Ltd., the company that operates Coinmama, on 27 May 2022.
- Tradewind Markets, Inc.: an institutional digital precious-metals platform incorporated in Delaware, USA. Wellfield closed its acquisition in 2023. The physical gold and silver behind its VaultChain™ units is custodied at the Royal Canadian Mint.
